Though there are a few highlights of him with his family and children which is touching, yet ironic in many situations. ![]() ![]() The film goes further and further in this path and especially ramps up during the second half with death and shoot-outs being the norm. He quickly gets a few people and weapons together and sets out for the score at night which goes down flawlessly on his end, with zero casualties and dope to sell. One of his first exploits come when new people come on the block that are “flashy” with their drugs, which entices Snow for another score. ‘Snow On Tha Bluff’ starts out with a few college kids going to the hood to buy drugs, and of course they buy it and live happily ever after, right? Wrong, they get jacked, and now Curtis Snow has a flashy new camera that he gives to his friend to record his daily life.įrom here we learn that Curtis Snow’s livelihood is robbing and selling dope, and that in his environment that’s pretty much the only option available. So I was greatly surprised that it wasn’t him and that this isn’t even a musical at that, the exact opposite. I’ve seen this movie cover a lot while rummaging through Netflix and I always thought it was OutKast on the cover (nothing against him though) so I always tried to avoid it. ![]() ![]() A gritty reality/drama, ‘Snow on tha Bluff’, an independent shot by Damon Russell takes you into the life of real banger Curtis Snow and his daily exploits.
